Make sure the device is NOT plugged in when you install the drivers or the installation may fail. Enter credentials and the driver installation should complete successfully. Click apply and then right-click 'setup.exe' again and this time 'run as administrator'. Here's the magic: Select the compatibility tab, then select the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" check box and then select the 'VISTA' option from the menu below the checkbox. Unzip the file, go to the Vista folder, and right click the 'setup.exe' file and select properties. The driver's themselves are fine, it is the installer that is packaged with them that is flakey.
